- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside.

- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine turmeric butter, sugars, and lemon zest. Mix well.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Chill Dough: Scoop dough into balls, coat in sugar, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Bake Cookies: Preheat oven to 350°F, place dough balls on baking sheets, and bake for 11-12 minutes.
