Ingredients
Pecan Filling:
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Crescent Rolls:
- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Set aside 2 tablespoons of the mixture.
- Add Pecans: Mix chopped pecans into the remaining sugar mixture.
- Prepare Rolls: Unroll crescent dough, place pecan filling on each triangle, and roll up. Bake for 8 minutes.
- Glaze Rolls: Brush rolls with reserved sugar mixture and bake for another 5 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Optionally, top with more chopped pecans before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, dark corn syrup can be used.
