Ingredients
1 package of fresh or frozen ravioli
4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
1 can of diced tomatoes
½ cup of heavy cream or half-and-half
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of dried basil
½ teaspoon of dried thyme
Salt and pepper, to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). - Sauté the Vegetables:
Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat.
Add diced onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute, stirring constantly. - Make the Soup Base:
