Ingredients
Kalamata Olives:
- 250 grams/8.8 oz kalamata olives, pitted, drained, reserving some brine
 
Cream Cheese:
- 250 grams/8.8 oz cream cheese
 
Other Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive brine
 - 1 tbsp dried onion
 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
 
Instructions
- Kalamata olives: Add the pitted kalamata olives to the bowl of a food processor and pulse for 5 seconds to roughly chop. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
 - Combine: Add cream cheese, garlic powder, dried onion, and olive brine. Pulse for another 5 seconds, scrape down the bowl, and pulse again to combine.
 - To serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve with pita chips or crackers.
 
Notes
- Kalamata Olives: Use a 250g (8.8 oz) jar of olives, drained with some brine reserved.
 - Cream Cheese: Soften cream cheese at room temperature for easier mixing.
 - Dried Onion: Use dried onion for a quick and flavorful option. Can substitute with onion powder, adjusting quantity.
