Ingredients
1 cup almond milk (or other milk of choice)
1 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
1 cup mandarin oranges (peeled, fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vanilla Greek yogurt)
1/4 ripe avocado
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
-
Add almond milk to a high-speed blender, followed by mango, mandarins, Greek yogurt, avocado, ginger, vanilla, and sea salt.
-
Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
-
Adjust consistency with more milk for a thinner smoothie, or add extra frozen fruit/ice for a thicker texture.
-
Taste and adjust flavors if needed, then pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- Frozen fruit makes the smoothie naturally thick and cold.
- For extra sweetness, add honey, maple syrup, or a pitted date.
- To boost protein, add a scoop of protein powder, hemp seeds, or more Greek yogurt.
- For a citrus boost, add a splash of lime or lemon juice.
- Make it vegan with plant-based yogurt and non-dairy milk.
