Ingredients
Sweet Potatoes:
- 4 lbs sweet potatoes, washed & cleaned
Seasoning:
- 6–8 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup sour cream, room temperature
- ¼ cup half & half, room temperature
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Sweet Potatoes: Peel and chop sweet potatoes into 2-inch pieces. Boil in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender.
- Mash Potatoes: Drain sweet potatoes and return to pot. Mash with butter, garlic, salt, pepper, sour cream, and half & half until creamy.
- Serve: Transfer to a serving bowl and top with additional butter, parsley, or thyme if desired.

- For a richer flavor, you can add more butter or cream to taste.
