Ingredients
3 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon, juiced
500 ml heavy cream
3 tbsp parsley, chopped
¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated
300g spaghetti (or preferred pasta)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Pasta – Boil salted water, cook pasta according to package instructions, and drain.
- Cook Garlic – In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Sauté minced garlic for 2 minutes until golden.
- Add Lemon Juice – Stir in freshly squeezed lemon juice and combine with garlic.
- Simmer with Cream – Pour in heavy cream and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, allowing it to thicken.
- Add Pasta – Add cooked pasta and ½ cup of pasta water to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Finish with Parsley and Parmesan – Remove from heat and toss in chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese.
- Serve – Transfer to plates, garnish with more parsley and cheese, and serve immediately.
