Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
12 oz linguine
6 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
-
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
-
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.
-
In the same skillet used for chicken, melt the remaining butter. Add garlic, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Return chicken to the skillet. Add linguine, lemon juice, and a splash of pasta water. Toss to coat.
-
Stir in parsley, chives, and Parmesan. Mix until pasta is well coated.
-
Slice chicken and serve over the linguine. Garnish with extra herbs and Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Toss pasta with pasta water to help emulsify the buttery sauce.
- For extra spice, add more red pepper flakes or cayenne.
- Add veggies like spinach, mushrooms, or cherry tomatoes for variety.
- Swap chicken for shrimp or salmon for a seafood twist.
- Reheat gently with a splash of broth, lemon juice, or pasta water to keep sauce smooth.
