Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a large bowl, cream peanut butter and sugar until smooth.
 - Beat in egg and vanilla until incorporated.
 - In a separate bowl, sift cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
 - Add dry mixture to peanut butter base and stir until combined.
 - Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheet.
 - Use a fork to press a crisscross pattern on each cookie, flattening slightly.
 - Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set but centers remain soft.
 - Cool on baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
