Ingredients

Apples:

  • 2 gala apples, thinly sliced

Ginger:

  • 57 thinly sliced ginger pieces

Cinnamon Sticks:

  • 2 whole cinnamon sticks

Maple Syrup:

  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Water:

  • 4 ½ cups water

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Add all of the ingredients into a large pot.
  2. Cook: Turn the stove to medium-low heat. Place the lid over the pot partially covered. Cook for one hour.
  3. Strain: When ready, place a super-fine strainer or mesh cloth over another pot and directly strain to discard the apples and spices.
  4. Serve: Transfer the filtered tea to a kettle or ladle the tea right into the teacup. Serve with a thin-sliced apple and cinnamon stick.
