4 frozen chicken patties (brands like Tyson® or Kirkland® work great)

Olive oil spray (optional, for extra crispiness)

Instructions

  1.  Preheat the Air Fryer:
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes. Prepare the Patties:
  3. Arrange the frozen chicken patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure the patties do not overlap for even cooking. If you prefer extra crunch, lightly spray them with olive oil.
  4. Cook the Patties:
  5. Air fry the chicken patties at 380°F (193°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
    Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), and the coating is golden brown and crispy.
  6. Rest the Patties:
  7. Let the patties rest for 2 minutes before serving them on buns or slicing them for use in salads.

Notes

  • Extra-Crispy Patties: For a crispier texture, spritz the patties with oil and cook at 400°F (200°C) for the last 2 minutes.
  • From Fridge (Not Frozen): If using refrigerated patties, reduce cooking time to 8-10 minutes.
  • Double Layer: If using stackable racks, you can cook 2 layers of patties simultaneously. Increase cooking time by 3-4 minutes for the best results.
