Ingredients

Fish:

  • 1 pound mahi mahi, sliced into 6 strips
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon avocado oil, or olive oil
  • ¼ cup cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning

For serving:

  • 6 corn tortillas, or small flour tortillas
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup pico de gallo

Fish taco sauce:

  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha, or hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Prepare the fish: Slice the mahi mahi filets into 6 strips, coat with lime juice and avocado oil.
  3. Bread the fish: Combine cornmeal and taco seasoning, coat the fish strips.
  4. Cook the fish: Air fry the breaded fish for 8 minutes at 400°F.
  5. Prepare the sauce and assemble tacos: Mix fish taco sauce ingredients, heat tortillas, assemble tacos with fish and toppings.
