Ingredients
For the Chicken Nuggets:
- 1 ½ pounds (680 g) boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed into 1‘ cubes
- 1 egg
For the Breadcrumb Mixture:
- 1 cup (60 g) panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup (31 g) all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup (25 g) grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for 5 minutes.
- Coat the Chicken: In a bowl, whisk the egg and coat the cubed chicken in it.
- Prepare Breadcrumb Mixture: In a plastic container, combine panko, flour, parmesan cheese, and seasonings. Mix well.
- Bread the Chicken: Add the egg-coated chicken to the container, close the lid, and shake to coat the chicken.
- Air Fry: Arrange the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F (204°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
